Terms of Use
foodstrava is a food journal on a shared map, operated by Kamaljeet Sahoo, Bengaluru, India. Using the app means you agree to these terms. They are short on purpose.
Your account
You must be at least 13 to use foodstrava. Keep your password to yourself; what happens under your account is your responsibility. You can delete your account at any time from Settings, which removes it immediately and permanently.
Your content
Photos, dish names, notes and feelings you save are yours. By saving them you give us the non-exclusive right to host and display them inside foodstrava — that is what makes the shared map work — and nothing more. Dishes are public when saved unless you mark them private; your private notes are never shown to anyone else.
House rules
foodstrava has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behaviour. Don't post content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or that isn't yours to post; don't post other people's personal information; don't pin places dishonestly or spam the map. Every dish and spot can be reported in one tap and every person can be blocked. Reports are reviewed by us, the operator — content and accounts that break these rules are removed, without notice where necessary.
The map is made by people
Spots, dishes and feelings are user-submitted opinions, not verified facts. Places move, close, and change hands. Visiting anywhere — and eating anything — is your own decision and your own risk. Map imagery comes from OpenStreetMap contributors and may contain errors.
The service
foodstrava is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the app. We may change or discontinue features; if we ever discontinue the service entirely we will say so in the app first.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India; courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka have jurisdiction.
